I'm a climate action enthusiast with expertise in climate change policy-making and community-led action. I currently serve as a Technical Expert (Index: UN-41314-B4C2) for the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), where I focus on Articles 4, 9, 10, 11, and 13. I'm also a PhD candidate at the University of Cape Coast, with my research centered on climate change negotiations within the UNFCCC.I'm deeply committed to bottom-up climate change approaches, community-led initiatives, and knowledge sharing—an ethos that runs through my activism, grassroots engagement, publications, and conference presentations. I've also actively participated in several high-level national and intergovernmental climate policy-making processes.

Hi everyone, I’m Lyns and I will be joining as a BOD. I hold a BSc in Environmental Science and Data Science from the University of British Columbia. My time there was funneled into researching about herring spawn habitats in the field. Currently, I work as a Data Analyst at ERIS, where I provide environmental risk information services. I am passionate about promoting environmental sustainability initiatives and fostering a sense of ecological responsibility. One day, I hope to expand further into the political facets of climate change, beyond the hard sciences, and gain a more complete intersectional perspective. At CCC, I am excited to grow personally and professionally with the team!

Hi everyone! I'm a passionate climate activist with a specific interest in city-level and community-focused sustainability initiatives. I recently graduated with a Master of Global Affairs from the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy, specializing in Environmental Studies, and I’m eager to begin my career as a public servant supporting sustainable development.In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering in climate initiatives, playing Scrabble, and exploring new restaurants.

I am the chair of the community climate council, where I have been able to use my leadership skills to bring people together to achieve a common goal. I have a great sense of humour and love working with people. I believe that educating and engaging local communities on the importance of protecting the environment is crucial in creating a sustainable future. I am dedicated to finding innovative ways to combat climate change and promote environmental sustainability. I am committed to implementing recycling programs and leading community clean-up events.
